Film Aaha Kalyanam is remake of Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) hindi film and this new version of the film Aaha Kalyanam, first shoot in tamil and dubbed in telugu but climax and soundtracks will be shoot diffrent in both the languages and title of the film Aaha Kalyanam will remain same. Shooting of the film started in 2013, Most of the shooting done in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysore, India.
Starring Nani and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles in both telugu and tamil. Reports- First the film titled was Bamchikbam casting Ravi Teja and Trisha to act in the Telugu under UTV Motion Pictures and in tamil with casting Tamannaah Bhatia, but later on Yash Raj Films reported, they had not sold the original rights of the film and there banner to make first tamil film.
